Atlanta Kalakshethra is honored to have performed in the largest Chenda Melam ensemble at the FOKANA Convention 2026 at Kalahari Resort in the Pocono Mountains, alongside over 500 Chenda artists from across the USA and Canada, and legendary masters including Mattanur Sankarankutty Marar and Kalamandalam Sivadasan.
Playing with masters and students from across the USA and Canada was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We thank the organizing team and our Atlanta Kalakshethra ensemble for the practice, commitment, and heart that made this journey possible.
